Treat Slider Card with Pink By Design Stamps

It's Friday and I am knee deep with  my move--Movers at going to arrive any moment to load up all my stuff (and trust me it is a lot of stuff)
So If you have never Visited Tresa Black's Blog--you should!! She is one of the most talented paper artists that I have ever come across and most recently she has been showing a book she made for the CTMH convention.  Simply AMAZING--you must check it out.
Well She did this super cute treat slider one Halloween and when I got this new set of Chocolate Inspired stamps from Pink By Design thought it was a match made in sweet treat heaven.
I changed it up just a little, but here is the outside!  This was a very simple and pretty quick project and I think I might be using this for a little favor I have to make in the near future.
Half opened---
All the way!
I got the candy bars at target for $1 (pack of 10)  paper was scraps and so was the ric rac.  Tag was punched and the circle was also punched.  Bling was from left overs and I inked the edges of the tag.  Sentiment is from the Pink By Design Say It Sweet Stamp Set which is a retail exclusive and can be purchased at Oh My Crafts!
Don't fret---I am going to point you to Tresa's Fabulously Artsy YouTube Channel for her easy to follow video--just be ready to spend some time on both her blog and all the videos--not only are they great but she is very funny as well.

Make it a great one--now off to finish moving!

Quick gift packaging using Pink By Design Stamps

Well we have hit wednesday and I am in the midst of the great move of  2011!  I never realized how much stuff I had--and to pack the scrap room has been a crazy experiance.  I have come to the realization that my collection of scrap items is so big I could open my own store!  Sort of sad in a funny way--
So i opened my mail box the other day and I got a package from Sarah the Pink Cricut (also the founder and designer for Pink by Design) with my newest release sets for the Design Team.  I know I said it before but this is another must have release--just in time to get started on your holiday cards!

So this fun little package is a clear box from PTI and the paper is CTMH and SEI.  I simply cut two strips for the belly band that were 12" long and a 1/2" difference in width.  I added some atg to the end and wrapped it around after inking the edges.
I used my spellbinders to cut the layerd shape.  The bottom layer is solid brown and I sent it through the cuttlebug to add texture.  I used a folder from the Asian theme set.  I inked the edges here as well.  This oh so wonderful vintage fall wreath is from one of the set that is going to be released soon.  I simply stamped the image on cream card stock in brown ink.

The pattern SEI paper had pine cones and is also glittered so I thought about how I can add some pop, I found these tiny pearls in red in my horde of supplies and thought --hello holly berries!  Simple but elegent--just my style.  This whole project only took about 10 minutes.  I also added a scrap of red ribbon around the middle of the notes and attached them together using pop dots.

Make sure you check out the Pink By Design Blog where the uber talented design team post a new project every day!!!

Make it a great one-

The Monday Buzz, with a Card using Pink By Design

Hello all--can you believe it is already Monday. This week is jammed packed for me. A lot going on at work with a big trade show in Vegas next week and my big move all of four miles from where I live now.
I have been packing all weekend and have come to the conclusion that I have way to much of everything--scrap stuff, wine, ties, shoes, suites, CLOTHES! I have also been getting rid of a lot of stuff but good lord have I collected a ton of stuff.
On to the project. I made this card using two Pink by Design stamp sets--one is a retail exclusive and the other a classic back ground.

The background is the Wired Background that I thought looked a bit like a honey comb. I used CTMH solid Creme Brulee paper and ink (no embossing shocker I know) for the base, Colonial White cream, and Topiary green paper.  The patter is from K&Company stack I got a Michael's for $1.99.  Got to love a deal.

Here is a close up of the layers.  I used chalk in on all the edges in the same color to give it an earthy brown ground.  I also put pop dots under the large cream section and the solid green section to give a bit of a 3D effect.
The sentiment is from the new Pink by Design Honey Pie set that you can get at OH MY CRAFTS.  This set has some great BEE sentiments!
I took some of the scraps and finished off the inside.  This is a great gender neutral card so if you need something of a man--you could lift this one to great success.
Thanks for stopping by today and I love hearing your feed back.  This month is crazy and I am so thankful that you all stick with  me and through all my crazy travels and life goings ons!
Make it a great one
