Pink By Design Team Day!

Well here is my most recent project for the Pink By Design: Design Team
If you have not check out all the great sentiment stamps, new background stamps, and stamp of the month--you should--just head on over by clicking here.  I used the Hoppy Easter sentiment set and
the Crazy Daisy back ground stamp.
I folded my card and then used my Spellbinders to cut the shaped card as well as each of the layers.
I heat embossed the purple layer with the background stamp and added a little pink gingham ribbon to tie it all together.  The egg paper is felted so it has a little pop as well.
I stamped the sentiment in a tonal pink to make it soft.  Quick and easy but cute just the way I like!
Make sure to head on over and check out all the stamps--the match perfect with your cricut cartridges and you are going to want them all!
Make it a great one

Bug Hunting Layout Kit

So todays page pack is from The Scrapbook Page--I swear they are one of the best out there at making great page packs!  The instructions are super eash all patterns are included and they are cute to boot!

Again I made it my own with ink, my cuttlebug, and a few pop dots
I embossed the lid of the jar to make it look a bit more realtistic
One of my Fav cuttle bug folders from the preserves set!
I simply love the way the bug turned out!  a bit fo texture and ink go a very long way--and a pop dot makes it 'fly'

the butter fly came in the kit but you could do more on your cricut!  I really love this layout!
Make it a great one!

"caution" page pack

Wednesday is here-and I will be headed home today--what a week.
I thought it was time to represent for the boys out there a layout that they are going to love--big earth movers and dump trucks--what boy doesn't like them!
This page pack if from the Scrapbook Page in Shawnee Kansas but they sell them on line!  YOU MUST MUST MUST check them out--Julie Case is a great designer
This store is one of my all time favs---really it is, they have an AMAZING staff, an assortment that will make you go broke and amazing classes--

I used the diamond plate embossing folder on this one, inked edges, and added some faux stitching!

Even on a boy's layout you can add touches of ribbon!

Hope you have enjoyed this week so far--I had a great time making these--i love the challange of putting your own spin on one of these kits!  Make sure to check out the Scrapbook Page as well--you will not regret it!
Make it a great one!

WOO Loves you Kit Layout

Well, I am on the road again this week.  This time in Vegas for a trade show called Magic--had nothing to do with tricks and trust me there is no Magic going on!
This week I have a 5 page kits to share.  I simply love a good page kit.  When you have limited time or are in a creative slump, kits are a prefect answer.
Today's kit is from Scrapbook "Fun"addicts--make sure to check them out by clicking on the link when you are through here.  They have tons of fun kits online and they are at so many scrapbook shows through out the year!

I like to make the kits my own by adding inkings, stitching, faux stitching, and of course cuttlebugging!

Thought this one was perfect to share on the 14Th of Feb!
Hope you all have a special day with the ones you love
